First, there's a man, with a big golden stick
Which he throws in the air, with a twirl and a flick.
Then come the drummers, each wears a peaked hat
The drums at their sides, go rat-a-tat-tat!
Them come the trumpeteers, tarantantara!
What a wonderful noise, trumpets sounds are.
Them the man with the cymbals, the sun makes them flash\
As he brings them together, with a lovely loud crash.
Last comes a fat man, there's almost no room,
He hits the big drum, boom, boom, boom, boom.
